Does amazon have account managers or have I been ripped off?

So I had placed an order 2 weeks ago on Amazon for a ps3 controller and well I got contacted from an account manager from mr.dealz (the seller) asking me if I had received my order...after a few emails he, Jason (the account manager), told me that they will reship a new ps3 controller once I give them my full name and full address. I gave it to him and since then I haven't received a reply...they don't have my credit card info cuz I used a gift card, but I want to know what you all recommend me to do? make a claim to Amazon or wait. The email address from Jason ends with @marketplace.amazon.com so this might not be a scam what do you all think and what should I do?
